IX. PAWs Report (Jonathan, Paul & Ryan): Pets Assisting Wounded Soldiers; Cheryl will send Cyndi pictures to send to Chapter on this story. All soldiers and pets were very appreciative
X. Everyone turned in hours to Cyndi-Cyndi scanned them and sent down to Chapter
XI. Area Conference/SIG Changes-Online right now until February 29th (log onto our website at www.sotx.org) for more info. All SIG Changes are available online as well through the website under the SIG link.
XII. Went over ALP’s Survey results; Cyndi needs to speak to Chapter in regards to an email blast to recruit new ALP’s members).

XV. Basketball Tourney-Help Needed for Families Area (Martha is working on this); all interested day of event volunteers can register on this website:
XVI. Other announcements:
a. Next meeting is Tuesday, March 20th at Region 10 at 7pm
b. Cyndi would like ALP’s members to become coaches; she also clarified a few regarding certification of becoming a coach: if athlete is a head coach, he/she cannot participate in that particular competition; however, if the athlete is an assistant coach, he/she may compete in the competition; example: Blaine is head coach for golf, so he cannot compete in golf competition; decides he wants to be an assistant coach and he is then able to compete in competitions (attached is the coaching reminders for everyone)
c. Blaine Hardin is going to Hill Day this week
d. Free Athlete Medicals are on Saturday, February 18th at CCA in Lewisville & Wednesday, March 21st at Dr. Gary C. Morchower’s office in Richardson (both have limits so please RSVP)
